SWITCHING GROUPS
We recognize that situations arise during the week that may interfere with your group time, however, we do not allow you to substitute group days and times. Groups are designed to create a safe and confidential place for clients to share and support one another. Moving from one group to another is both disruptive and distracting and can affect the sense of trust and privacy between group members.
If you must be absent from your regular group, you may schedule an individual session with your counselor to make up for the time lost or you may add the missed class to the end of your treatment. Keep in mind that missed groups are subject to our NO-SHOW POLICY so it is important that you make every effort to attend your regularly scheduled group.
If you must change your schedule due to work, school, life changes, please CHAT with us to discuss.
